Stimulus Influence
There are four main types of Stimulus Influences: Product, Price, Promotion, and the Place. I am only going to example Promotion Stimulus Influence more in depth. There are other Stimuli, like Economics, Political, Social, And Technologic, but the other four are the main ones.
Promotion
Promotion is the company itself lowering the price of the product and promoting it. This could increase sales and is a good way to get your product out there. Promotion is used in T.V. commercials, poster boards on the side of the highway. Promotions are now very common in today’s society. When customers compare the varied prices of the products when they are on sale to when they are not, it will be see that it would be beneficial to buy certain temporary products like hand soap or breakfast cereal, in large quantities. Promotions will also affect the consumer's choice in brand. The better the deal, the more alluring the product may seem in the eyes of the buyer.
